Lagoona Bay Stud is one of the new players in the cattle industry. It is located in Amamoor just 10 minutes to Gympie and 40 minutes to Noosa. We started with a purchase of 10 female studs in the 2000 Female Sale at Gympie. A year later, more were purchased from dispersal Sale. To built its herd, an aggressive 5 year plan was put in place to purchase quality studs to include Giunda, Saddleback and JBM studs. Recent additions to the herd included: Purchase of 16 female studs in calf in the recent Ivanhoe Dispersal Sale 2006.
Purchase of stud bull : Amavale Turbo – Ivanhoe Dispersal Sale 2006.
Purchase of Glenlands Imparja – highest paid bull in Glenlands 2005 Sale.

Lagoona Bay also began its Artificial Insemination (AI) program breeding. Sperms were bought off Talgi Impact and used existing sperm off Haigslea Billy.
